The Katannilik Territorial Park is a fertile area between the Hamlet of Kimmirut
(approximately 90 kilometers from Iqaluit) and the southwest shore of Frobisher Bay (approximately 30 kilometers)
from Iqaluit. Access is available from both sides. The Park follows the Soper Valley and the
Itijjagiaq trail (a 120 kilometer traditional overland trail from Iqaluit to Kimmirut). The trail has a
